Sawa Restaurant & Lounge opened with a contemporary Mediterranean & Japanese dual-concept cuisine in early 2010 in the beautiful upscale Shops at Merrick Park.

Sawa's dual-concept tapas-centric menu was created to encourage a shareable dining experience. The menu tells a story of when the East meets the Far East and the unique offerings of contemporary Mediterranean & Japanese dishes merge an innovative sushi menu with a memorable ensemble of tapas and entrees. Guests can explore traditional Lebanese dishes, such as hummus, kibbeh, and falafel and expand into nouveau Mediterranean and Japanese flavors, as Sawa fuses together creative cuisine elements into one great menu.

We made reservations but they seemed to have forgotten...other than that the service and food was amazing as always!! Their hummus & brissel sprouts are addicting.

The ambiance, the service, the birthday courtesy dessert, the relatable attitude and sweetness of their employees and last but not least: the amazing food! Every bite was juicy and delicious. We had the Parrillada Sampler and it was phenomenal! The pana cotta dessert, and birthday baklava pastry were delicious! The cocktails were amazing! Every aspect of Sawa was truly a delightful experience. It’s a sure come back!✨👌
