Named after the owner’s youngest son, Satchel’s on 6th is the place to eat and drink. Our Chef has created a contemporary, eclectic, New American neighborhood menu using seasonal ingredients that results in refined flavors and inspired plates. We've put our heart and soul into this place and it gives us great pleasure to serve you.
Warm wood tones and exposed brick highlight this cozy, 50 seat space that has made its home on East Denver reinvigorated 6th Avenue. Says Casalini, Our goal is to become the best go-to, indispensable restaurant in the neighborhood. Period. End of story.

This is my favorite restaurant. If it was close enough for me to walk to - even in the winter - I would be there 2-3 times a week!

The server decided to talk to the couple next to us about politics for 10-15 minutes. The server was talking so loud that I couldn’t hear my date the entire time. Completely threw off what would’ve been a really nice Valentine dinner. Plus because they were so focused on their political conversation our service for that period was nonexistent while we waited on food and drink refills.

We absolutely adore Satchel’s. Last night we were put at a tiny table in the corner by the window. You could feel a draft coming through the window and the metal chair I was sitting on was freezing cold. We were tucked in so tight that the server had to hand our dinner plates over the heads of other diners. And when someone at the table next to us had to get up, we also had to stand up to allow for them to get through. I know the economics of the restaurant business are tough, but this took away from our overall experience.

The pineapple old fashioned, the burger, the duck fat fries, the truffle risotto + parmesan crusted chicken, and Jean Phillipe were all 10/10 chefs kiss
