About the restaurant
Le Yaca began in 1964 in Courchevel, a tiny, country village in the French Alps. Daniele Bourderau & Gerard decided it would be fun to open a small restaurant. When friends learned of their plans, they told the hopeful restaurateurs they were crazy to think people would drive eight kilometers on a winding, icy road for dinner. Daniele and Gerard hesitated for three months and then decided, “yaca le faire,” a contraction of the French phrase “il n’y a qu’a le faire,” which basically means, “let’s do it.” They called the restaurant Le Yaca as a gag, but the name caught on with customers who were amused by the pun and contributed to the restaurant’s lore by inventing “yaca-isms” of their own: yaca y aller (let’s go). Daniele came to the United States and opened Le Yaca in Williamsburg. Daniel Abid bought Le Yaca in 2001. Daniel worked and trained in such prestigious places as “Le Pre Catelan” and “Lenotre” in Paris; “L’Amandier” and “Roger Verge," and to top it all off, “Alain Ducass

This is a great little restaurant. I’ve lived in Williamsburg for almost 7 years and just happened to see it on Open Table. It’s pretty small but you could tell by the amount of people waiting to be seated it had to be a good place….and it was! Seated right away and the waitress even wished us a happy anniversary. We ordered the Shumai as an appetizer and I had a Ginger Stir Fry with chicken as my entree. Sooooo good!!! My husband had a dish with combo meats medium spicy and he thought it was delicious. Wait time was a little slow between appetizers and entrees but it was fine. They do give military discount as well. Great place! We’ll be back.

About the restaurant
The Gabriel Archer Tavern was built in 1987 on footprints of an old farm shed. Today, its mission is to provide a memorable farm-to-table dining experience that's both delicious and nourishing.

In addition to a half-acre produce garden and greenhouse on site where lettuces and herbs will be grown, our chef works hard to find local farmers as partners in producing a menu oriented towards fresh and seasonal specialties.

Our wide variety of fresh selections from our unique menu will guarantee that everyone in your party leaves with a smile.

A really lovely lunch. The ambiance is perfect and we had a beautiful view of the snow covered vineyard. Our server was attentive and helpful. Knowledgeable of the wine and of the menu items. We got a cheese board and a chocolate ganache torte to share and they were to die for. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience in every respect. Very nice wine list, a representatives set of Turkish dishes very well prepared, and excellent service. The owner was very much engaged. It is white tablecloth but not overly formal. Reasonable prices for the quality. We'll be back.

Craft 31 Review I recently had the pleasure of dining at Craft 31, and it was a delightful experience! We ordered the wings and pizza, both of which were absolutely delicious. The wings were perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful meat. The pizza was equally impressive, with a well-balanced combination of toppings and a perfectly baked crust. One of the highlights of our visit was the atmosphere. We chose to sit in the heated and enclosed outdoor seating area, which provided a cozy and comfortable environment. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our meal, especially on a chilly evening. However, there was one area that could use improvement. The water glasses had a noticeable dishwasher film, and the water bottle was sticky and dirty. This detracted slightly from an otherwise excellent dining experience. Overall, Craft 31 offers a great dining experience with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to eat and relax, but I hope they address the cleanliness of their glassware in the future.
