Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. Tom oversees the menu and together they cook and share a love for Italian food and natural wine. The dining room is hosted by Lucy Mastroddi and Paul Seckler along with Alice Phillips.

We had a fabulous Sunday lunch, the menu was just right and the food delicious. The staff are so attentive and helpful and a credit to the Pig on The Hill. We had a great time and can't wait to try the evening menu.

A resplendent thatched-roof Inn, located in the heart of Devon, two miles from the coastal town of Sidmouth. With eight recently renovated rooms, the Blue Ball is a snuggly, seaside treat of a place. Locally sourced seafood specials are the order of the day, supplied by renowned Cornish fishmonger Flying Fish, coupled with a well-stocked bar of real ales, liveners & pick me ups! Booked a table on OpenTable for 4.30 for my wife's birthday. Booked an early time because it was given as an option by OpenTable and the weather forecast was for snow. We arrived at 4.15 and found that the restaurant was not supposed to open for service until 5pm. Bobby the barman and Josh the chef made us very welcome and opened early for us. We enjoyed a lovely meal, complete with candles to celebrate the occasion! Thank you Bobby & Josh. Great customer service by both of you!
