The Standard at The Smith House may very well be the best example of local Nashville flavor and service. The Standard Restaurant has been in operation since 2006 serving upscale Southern specialties complete with a full-service bar. Our townhouse was built in the 1840's and we are honored to be the current stewards of this fascinating work of architecture. We are located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, just blocks from the new Music City Convention Center and the famous Lower Broadway entertainment district. We are proud to offer some of the best steaks in town as well as fresh seafood and other items.

Our beautiful courtyard bar area is available with a dinner reservation for drinks before or after dinner.

The staff from the moment you enter to the minute you leave … OUTSTANDING! The food! Portions just right. Food flavorful and properly prepared. Every attention to detail. Eating in a historic house with ambiance !!! A MUST in Nashville !

Could not have had a better experience. There are a lot of Great steak houses in Nashville and so glad I was able to visit Bob's. From the staff to the food, could not have been better. I was with my son as we visit Nashville for bar hopping every Christmas. We always plan 1 really nice dinner and this year it was Bobs. I had a TBone that must have been 4 pounds. It was cooked to absolute perfection. Beautiful seared crust on the outside and Medium Rare inside. The steak was easily 3" thick. One of the best steaks I have ever had. The bar had many hard to find Bourbons from the Single Barrel EH Taylor to the Weller Larue. Had to have a pour of each. My son and I have visited most of the top Steak Houses in Nashville and this steak was the best. Highly recommend.

Steak Dinners at Star Rover will offer the complete experience – cut in-house steaks paired with crisp salads and crisper cocktails, bottomless triple-cooked fries and onion rings, fresh-baked dinner rolls, live music, and good times.

Loved the whole thing. Wish it were a little more crowded when we went. There was a performer on stage for half our dinner which was fun. Seems to have a different energy on a night to night basis. But definitely go and try the food it is awesome
