This is a very low key restaurant - similar to a small cafe in a small town in italy. The food was fantastic - everything from the bread to entrees. If you want a casual place with great food, this is it.

I have visited Casa Mariano many times, and in my opinion, it’s the best restaurant in Doral. The kitchen combines Mediterranean flair with excellent quality and innovation. The service is always outstanding—you can tell the staff has received top-notch training. One thing I really appreciate is their excellent wine selection. They offer unique options you don’t typically find elsewhere, and they don’t overcharge for them. Many great bottles are priced below $60, which is refreshing and adds to the overall experience. The only downside is the acoustics, which are usually not great. Yesterday, it was particularly bad due to a loud, drunken customer. However, I must commend the staff—they apologized, asked the customer to calm down, and handled the situation as best as they could. With individuals like that, there’s always a risk of escalation, so kudos to the team for managing it professionally despite the disruption. Overall, Casa Mariano remains one of my top choices, and I highly recommend it!

I can't wait to return and try other gastro-delights! There were two of us for brunch on a Sunday. We ordered the pork belly appetizer, and it was so delicious, we ordered a second! I had the eggs benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached and runny. The hollandaise was delicious as were the house made sausage (instead of Canadian bacon) and potatoes which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was served on a slice of house made brioche. My friend had the mahi-mahi in a vadouvan curry. The mahi was fresh and delicious. I tried the curry, and it was umami! For dessert, we had the chocolate chip bread pudding with house-made vanilla ice cream with a hint of thyme. I wasn't sure it would work, but it did! The "bread pudding" was not pieces of stale bread in a custard, but a freshly baked "bread" (not sure how they do it), loaded with chocolate chips, yummy, melty, and warm, and the ice cream melted just enough to add the "custard". All in all, it was delicious, and I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it! Look at the menu. I think everything is house made including their breads. Run, don't walk!
