The service we had last night (January 27,2025)is not what we accustomed to at Ruth Chris. Usually the courses come one after another but last night there was roughly a 15-20 minute wait between each course. We were constantly flagging someone down to refill the water. This was very disappointing because you should expect more from a high end restaurant. On the bright side the food was excellent.

Ruth’s Chris Asheville has rebounded from the storm like no other! Two weeks after the storm they reopened. We dined there tonight and can’t wait to return. Phenomenal experience! Ruth’s Asheville is definitely up to Ruth’s standards.

My husband and I went to Ruth Chris for our anniversary. We did the restaurant week special. The steak was perfect and the mashed potatoes were great.

Great service by Shawn, phenomenal food. The steak my husband had was cooked perfectly and he thoroughly enjoyed the hash brown. My salmon was perfectly cooked, moist and flavourful. The carrot cake was unbelievably huge and was a great way to end the evening with coffee.

I’d suggest that you NOT use bar seating as Reserved seating. When dining at Ruth’s Chris you expect an unparalleled experience. Our experience was akin to a packed Applebees on Game Day! If your table seating is at capacity then bar seating ideally is first come first serve- not a reserved seat. It would appear that the customer dining experience has given way to revenues at all costs. I can only assume that the Kitchen was overwhelmed causing mistakes in the order, late arrival of sides and a hectic feel to our parties meal. Bottom line the quality of the food did not disappoint the dining experience however was less than pleasant.
