I have been going to Ruth Chris for over 40 years. One of my favorite Ruth Chris was this one in Crystal City overlooking Reagan Airport. It did not live up to my experience at this Ruth Chris or any other Ruth Chris. I honestly don’t care if I ever go back. Very sad on so many levels!

I had a 7:30 p.m reservation, and I had my friend to get there on time to get seated at our table, and I asked for a window seat with a great view of the airport a day ahead of time, and the seating was poor. It was not a great view from where we were sitting, the waiter that we had he had very poor customer service skills and my food that came out it was not cooked the way that I asked I like my steak to be well done and it was not prepared. That way I cut my food up to look inside the steak so I could know whether or not it was well done. I order the steak and lobster they took the plate that I had and brought me back the exact same plate at this time. The steak was halfway burnt and the lobster was burnt at the top as well I asked the server what is going on what is wrong with the lobster? He stated what’s wrong with it and then I was told by the manager that that is what they do bring you back out the same exact plate they do not give you a new meal I described that I had came to this establishment for years and never had that experience so with everything being said the general manager had to straighten things out at this time it was very late this was not a great experience. Hi came out to celebrate my award that I have received at work.

We have been to this Ruth's Chris in the past, but went for my birthday this time. When we arrived, they made sure we were seated by the end windows to maximize the view of the airfield and the table had little "Happy Birthdays" all over it. The waiter was on top of everything we needed, very attentive.

My friend and I went out to celebrate my upcoming birthday and the ambiance was nice, our table had been sprinkled with birthday confetti - it was super cute. We ordered bbq shrimp, ribeye, stuffed chicken breast, Au gratin, garlic mashed potatoes, and sweet potato casserole…we both love potatoes and laughed at the fact that we’d ordered three types when the waiter walked away. Unlike times past, our sides were weren’t great. The au gratin was runny with a layer of cheese over the top, and the sweet potato casserole was over cooked- including the topping that was charred. I was shocked that it was even delivered to the table in that shape. The meats were perfectly cooked and the garlic mash were heavenly. The waiter showed our sides to the manager and he later came out to apologize and ordered me a free dessert and my friend another drink. They of course removed the sides from the bill and the manager brought me a birthday card with a $50 gift card. He apologized profusely for ruining my bday dinner. So although not a great experience this time, it won’t deter me from trying this location again - we usually go to Tyson’s.

Ask for a table by the window. Such a beautiful view of the DMV. I’m a picky person and I would say everything that I ate was delicious.

It's always a treat eating at this location of Ruth's Chris! Our server, Kevin, took amazing care of us, very attentive but not overbearing. Our steaks were cooked perfectly for each guest and the lobster mac n cheese was delicious! We truly appreciated the outstanding service and food we received at Ruth's Chris in Arlington.
