Made a reservation there after shopping earlier in the day. Must say the place exceeded my expectations. Family friendly yet upscale. Great service and great food. We had the crab cakes, spring rolls and mix grill—all excellent. Wait staff very attentive.

Always love Roy's Asian fusion dishes but has been awhile. Glad we went. Ambiance in the restaurant can be very nice, but we got a table behind a boat that limited visibility og=f the beautiful lagoon. Excellent server Nicole was very personable and engaging. We have the miso marinated butterfish. Multiple spectacular flavors were savory in every bite. Also had scallops with an excellent crust that has a mild but effective kick. Always love Roy's!

The food at Roy’s was very good. High quality and very fresh. The only thing that could have made it better would have be patio seating. The view of the golf course is pretty.

Very excellent food and service but the prices have gone AND the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. Not quite the full value it use to be.

The food was excellent but the service was very slow. We had a young child with us and while very well behaved, it is a lot to ask of a child to be at dinner for over 2 1/2 hours. Even our drinks took almost 30 minutes to get to the table.

Been coming to Roy’s for many years. Was curious how it would change now that Arnie, the previous manager, left. Spoke with the new manager briefly. He said his previous job was building boats. He left abruptly when I inquired about Arnie. He asked how things were going but before I could tell him he just walked away. Both dishes Lamb and Swordfish were under seasoned and the swordfish was lukewarm. Service was uneven and slow. Waiter seemed more interested in larger parties than table for two. Complementary dinner rolls are no longer available. Instead they have foccia bread for $12. Probably not coming back for a long time.

Very friendly staff. Service was excellent. Manager approached the table and was very friendly. Cooks said goodbye on way out. Hostesses were great. Specialty cocktail was great. Apps were very good. Dessert was also quite good. So far so good. Now the bad news: Entrees (ribeye and ahi) were boring. Extremely bland! Ordered the ribeye and lobster, had to apply plentiful salt and pepper to make the ribeye edible. Tuna had NO FLAVOR at all. How can you mess up seared Ahi Tuna in Hawaii? This was the chef’s pre fix menu! Must not have been Chef Roy. Added on scallop to order and was charged for it but it never arrived. Pretty disappointing experience. Not one to cause a fuss at the table so we paid and left. I’m sure tourist will still flock there because of the name but I don’t think us residents will return for a second visit.
