   We have loved coming to Roy’s for many years. This may be our last time. Prices were way out of whack with the quality of food. Food was hit and miss. Slow slow service. MR steak served rare, parts were blue. Starters and drinks very good. Everyone had an issue with entrees. Very sad to see this establishment slipping.

   This is NOT the same Roy’s as the mainland. Diner/retirement home vibes with slow service, tired linens and surroundings, and dried out and poorly presented food. It had no taste and was overpriced for what you get. It was an absolute joke and disappointing experience. We won’t be coming back or recommending to others. Roy should be ashamed!

   We waited 30 minutes for our table, having. 7pm reservation and being seated at 7:30. At 7:45, someone finally took our drink order. We received our meal around 8:30. The 2 fish entrees were very good but you have to decide if it’s worth the wait.

   This is a nice restaurant in the resort area, not terribly expensive and really good, local fresh food. The seafood is really the best. Options for almost every pallet. Service is spectacular.

   Food as always is excellent - a few dishes like famous ribs are worth the trip alone! Service (main waiter) was notably inattentive , rest of staff was good

   Our reservation started out a little rough as another couple claimed our spot while we waited for a text in the bar, so everything was delayed by about 40 minutes. I’m still shocked people can be so low. But our meal was so very good that we got over it! We started with the Brussels sprouts appetizer. So delicious! We both had the butterfish, substituting snow peas for the dreaded bok choy. It was divine! Not a speck remained on the plate! We ended with the macadamia nut tart to top off a purely delightful, if not delayed evening. Service was top notch also.

   Kealii was a superb waiter with a vast amount of experience. who never used a pen and paper to take all six of our orders very knowledgeable of everything that we ordered from the menu of which he explained every dish to us.

    Enjoyed everything. Especially friendly staff, including Arnie and Nicole going out of their way to make sure we enjoyed everything. Even the line Cooks said hello on our way in and out.  Best restaurant in the marketplace area
