   My wife and I dine at Roy's weekly. The food and service are always outstanding. Their executive chef Tyler is extremely creative and offers nightly specials in addition to the regular menu.

   Everyone was super nice and helpful. The food was great and came out fast. Super accommodating to kids. I’ve been here multiple times and will definitely be back again.

   Roy should invest in more training for the service employees at this location. The ambiance was noisy and the service almost non- existent. The food was okay. But not excellent. I have dined at all of Roy’s establishments in Hawaii and most on the mainland over many years and this experience has set me off of the brand for a very long time. You will find better service and just as high quality at Kona Inn and the Fairemont’s Halekai. Not a good investment of my money or time - sad to say. Do better Roy!

   We got off to a great start but it went downhill fast. We had a relatively early seating and the server was at 1st friendly and attentive. After a cocktail we ordered promptly and our starters arrived…the Brussels sprouts and mussels were excellent. As we waited for our main courses…and waited…and waited, no one checked in other than the people bussing dishes. All of the tables that were seated after us were served, turned over, and had new occupants, some with food! Our server arrived after an hour to let us know that our food was almost ready. Then it arrived 15 minutes after that, and it was barely lukewarm. So disappointed, have never before had this experience at Roy’s. When our bill arrived the server mentioned that our drinks had been comped, with no apology or explanation. Not sure what happened, but I guess anyone can have a bad day. Bummer that it happed to us.

   Roy's never disappoints. Food was fantastic, my wife had the Butterfosh and I had the mac crusted swordfish. So good.

   The food was fantastic and the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server David made some great recommendations for entrée and dessert. Service was just a tad slow owing to it being Valentines Day and the crush of diners. We'll definitely be back again before heading back to the mainland.

   The food here is always good. We had mussels and clams as an appetizer but no bowl was given to place the shells in. Lobster was very good as was calamari steak

    Waiter was very slow to take out food and drink order. We had a salad and didn’t order out main course until after we had finished our salad. One of us had a birthday we were celebrating and in the past you provide a dessert for the birthday person. Didn’t happen last night. The lobster was a little mushy, not bad but not as expected at Roy’s. Scallops were great!
