    We dined at Rooneys on Sunday for lunch. We were a bit caught off guard by the menu prices. We’ve dined many times before and always had a nice lunch and ordered off the lunch menu . The menu was definitely the dinner menu and when asked if they had a lunch menu they said no. Most people seemed to be ordering the sushi since it was not as expensive as the other items on the menu. We had 4 Bronzino‘s all servings had skin on the fish and we were served the tail end of the fish. What happened to the nice thick mid section of the fish? Short rib and lamb shank was a bit dry and should have been kept in the pot with the sauce so it stays moist. Asparagus was steamed and it said grilled on the menu and they were yellow and woody. My husband is an executive chef and was not impressed. Calamari, oysters and bread were good and the service was outstanding!!

    The food, Service and seating were outstanding this evening. We all had different dishes with sides, which were accommodated perfectly. Always good to see the manager Darrell check with everyone as he circulated throughout the restaurant.. McKenzie, our waitress was personable efficient and knowledgeable. One of our favorites places to visit!

    We had a beautiful dinner. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. The fish, mahi, was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband had the pasta special..seafood bolognese, out of this world. The service was great, and of course the view is beautiful compliments to the chef and owner!

    This was our first time dining at Rooney’s - my wife and I decided to come here for a date night evening out. Everyone and everything from the hostess, our waiter (Scott J.), the food, drinks, desserts and atmosphere were top notch. Can’t wait to dine here again! Thank you all for a wonderful evening!

    First time here and it was a beautiful experience for my granddaughter‘s graduation from Monmouth University. Our table by the window was beautiful facing the ocean. Food was delicious and our server could not have been more accommodating. Very impressed.
