   We loved it every morning. Sadly my husband paid no attention to the ticket and I just saw we paid for someone else’s meal they got steak and eggs the crab Benedict and a omelet. I had water 21 egg and bacon. He had toast 2 eggs and water coffee. Our adult son had eggs Benedict Diet Coke and granddaughter had kids pancakes. I wondered why it was so high he paid fast bc we had tours to get off too. Wish I could have enjoyed the steak and eggs. Loren Rich

   We had such a wonderful time! The staff was extremely accommodating to our ever increasing reservation numbers. The food was good, GREAT prices and most of all great service!

   The restaurant was willing to accommodate us on Sunday am even tho we did not want a full brunch. I felt the staff went above and beyond! And the scrambled eggs were real- not the poetry flat version so often served in restaurants

   In nicer weather, we like to sit on the veranda. In the colder months, we still like to be near the windows in.the rear.

   My family and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our Thanksgiving at the Omni Shore, marking our very first venture into the hotel's festive offerings – and what a delightful experience it was! From the moment we stepped into the warmly lit ambiance, we were greeted not just by the welcoming staff but also by the enchanting melodies of a live pianist, setting the perfect tone for our holiday brunch. The experience was nothing short of magical. The spread was meticulously laid out, presenting an array of Thanksgiving essentials that left us spoilt for choice. While we observed the absence of ham, this detail quickly faded into insignificance against the backdrop of the culinary delights that awaited us. Each dish was a revelation of flavors, evidently crafted with care and the freshest of ingredients, capturing the true essence of Thanksgiving in every bite. Moreover, the mimosas added a sparkling touch to our celebration, perfectly complemented by the impeccable service and the picturesque setting of the Omni Shore. But what truly made our Thanksgiving brunch extraordinarily memorable was witnessing the genuine enjoyment and satisfaction of my parents. Thank you, Omni Shore, for a truly splendid Thanksgiving.    The Omni Shoreham Thanksgiving buffet event did not disappoint! The food quality and variety as well as service were truly five star! And the ambience, complete with a young talented pianist bringing Charlie Brown Christmas/Vince Guaraldi vibes and the beautiful holiday decor contributed to a very special ambience. Wow!    The Alice in Wonderland Tea Party is one of the best-curated experiences in DC. They set up their tea room - off the main restaurant, overlooking the terrace and Rock Creek Park - with Alice-themed decorations, including bronze statuettes from the book illustrations, the Mad Hatter’s hat, flamingoes, playing cards and more. While that may sound like a lot, it was tasteful and understated while encompassing everything that Alice is. Thankfully, there were no mice in the teapots. The selection of teas was fantastic. There were some teas selected by management, and others that were Disney-branded. My guest and I had the black tea with hints of strawberry, fig and vanilla (one of the Disney teas), and it was perfect. When you drink it, you know you’re drinking a black tea, but the hint of other flavors lightens the taste for a perfect afternoon tea. My guest and I were celebrating his birthday - he is a huge Alice fan. As adults, I was worried that this would be too childish, knowing nothing else about it, but it’s a very adult, refined experience, modeled after and on par with any afternoon tea you could have in London (and even better than some). The finger sandwiches were an incredibly varied selection, all carefully crafted. There wa severything from ham and Brie to olive to crab cake (one of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had). The scones and desserts were also fantastic. Service was incredible. Staff was amazingly attentive and kept bringing sandwiches until we were ready to burst. They brought out a slice of cake (complimentary for the birthday celebration) and even comped a mimosa and a glass of sparkling cider (for the non-drinker) to top off the celebration. The chef even came out to wish a happy birthday. Service was so good I tipped somewhere around 35%. If you or a loved one is an Alice fan (even if you’re not), this is a must-do experience.
