   quiet saturday night in january. guitar/ vocalist enhanced our experience. my New Year’s Eve soup was absolutely delicious, but was served on the “ not hot side”. My wedge salad, my prime burger, and my peach cobbler were also prepared well and delicious. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I found the value to be very fair  I would definitely go back

   Great environment/food. Had a reservation, total dinner time was 36 minutes. Server was rushing ready to get us out of there! Good experience but as visitors of Savannah, wish we got to experience our dinner a little more.

   I have been going to River House for 3 decades. Always had very good steaks and seafood there until this experience. I ordered a $40 file mignon to be cooked just shy of medium. Up until the past 2 years every restaurant filt I ever ordered when dining out was 1.5" to 2" thick and cooked as requested . This past couple of years I have been served filets that were closer to 3/4" thick and one was well done and this one from River House was dead on rare. Very disappointing.

   What a charming place to have a nice dinner. Ironically 3 other tables as well as the waitress were from Wisconsin!

   Fantastic find while making a quick stop in town. Love the old brick arches throughout, you could feel the history. Service was top notch and the food was spectacular. Started with escargot, then had the pecan bourbon salmon and daily special(red drum) for entrees. We cleaned both our plates. Finished dinner with pecan pie and peach cobbler. Phenomenal from start to finish. Highly recommend and will def be back.

   The food was delicious. We had the grouper Oscar and the flounder. Both meals were filling and worth the money. For dessert we had the praline cheesecake, which had a unique sweet taste. Our waiter was attentive as well.

   Delicious food and great service. The butternut squash soap was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Went back another day but they had run out. The Southern Fried Chicken was amazing. A must on your trip to Savannah. Also great service and wonderful staff.

    Food was okay just over priced. The white chocolate coconut cream pie tasted like Suntan lotion! yuck!!
