   I save Rick's Boatyard to celebrate something special. Today was Christmas with our neighbor. The food is always good. The restaurant always looks inviting. I do miss the fireplace. The servers are always helpful.

   The Christmas decorations were beautiful and created such a warm environment. The renovations have really enhanced this restaurant's atmosphere. The main concern for me is the menu. There is no lunch menu. The previous lunch menu provided a wider variety of options. A nice place to eat but not a menu to match.

   Another great evening at Ricks!!! While AD was out for a well deserved break Johnathan gave us excellent service with Hanna as our server where we wanted for really nothing. She was always right there filling our water and bringing wine/beer for the table. Always a “do-over”

   I must admit I was disappointed by where we were seated tonight on an anniversary event for my family. We had six people but were seated at a table for 8 right by a door to outside patrons. That door was constantly opening and closing during our entire dinner with cold air coming in. There were times the door stayed open for lengthy amounts of time. We asked for a different table and were offered packing six people into a small booth. What is crazy about this was we were seated at the exact table 2 years ago and we asked to move again and was denied. I’ll admit after years of dining here I’ll have to find a different spot so we can enjoy our dinner. When you pay over $100 for a meal you should enjoy the atmosphere and experience. Our waiter was great and if not for him doing a good job we would have probably left. I never submit bad reviews but this time I had to get a msg to you and your restaurant management. That was theeee worst spot you can possibly seat anyone in that restaurant.

   We planned this birthday dinner for a 9 year old. This was the restaurant that her parents celebrated the news that they were expecting a baby. The girls were thrilled and called the restaurant a " fancy" place. Loved all the decorations. We were seated right away and the server was just delightful. Made note of the birthday. Food arrived timely and was delicious. Excellent night,

   I always enjoy Rick’s Boatyard!! The new renovation’s and new Christmas Decorations are beautiful! The food and staff were delightful!!

    Her express was good but not exceptional number one. They ran out of soup. The food was very good though we will be back.
