The views are beautiful, large windows showed off snowy weather while we ate. The signature grilled cheese and tomato soup were both wonderful. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Overall a wonderful experience!

A very cute place with super service. We sat at the bar (requested) and ordered traditional southern fare - fried green tomatoes over grits (excellent), hot pimento cheese dip (very good - hubby likes it better than i did, but I’m used to it cold on a sandwich). For dinner we had the fried chicken (dark meat) and collards - both excellent, though next time I’ll request to leave off the honey dust, I would have preferred it without the hint of sweetness. Hubby ordered the pulled pork in confit - excellent on all fronts but be ready as it’s not “rich” but it’s a lot! And I had to try the biscuits with butter and blueberry j as a dessert (it’s a starter). The biscuits were as good as my momma makes and the butter was nice and whipped. Next time I’ll just order the biscuits with butter and honey - not that the blueberry was anything but lovely - just that’s they way I grew up ;) All in all - if you’ve got southern roots or want authentic southern cookin’ this will remind you of home!
