Staffordshire Moorlands Restaurants

I took my wife to Lunar, for the first time, for our 22nd Wedding Anniversary, yesterday. She had no idea that I was going to do this and no idea what Lunar would be like. It turned out to be far more than we expected. The food and drink were exceptional, both in taste and presentation. The service was a refreshing return to the time when staff cared about who come in and how they were dealt with, from the moment we walked through the door to when we were given the guided tour afterwards. For us, a totally immersive experience that we greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Lovely little restaurant, I would visit again when next in keele. Food was amazing, the restaurant has a stylish decor. Didn’t feel rushed, service was polite and efficient.

Peerless in the local area. Food superb, some amazing dishes which were all good. From chicken pie to steak, risotto, chicken parfait to tarts tatin all superb Local bar also part of the pub restaurant which was nice to see. Only negative was one of the bar proper uppers decided it was ok to vape at the bar - pretty disgusting and staff seemed accepting of this as most diners had left at that point . A lovely place for a catch up with friends. The staff and service were friendly , and the coffee was really good. Well worth those few extra steps up the high street.
