- JJillWisconsin •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoThe Beef Wellington was to die for -- awesome! The Statehouse is a lovely location overlooking the lake, and surrounded by Christmas lights this time of year. A great place to celebrate a special event.More infoThe StatehousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Madison•4.5
- RRichardSeattle / Eastern Washington •3 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoOverall a good experience. This wasn't our first time there but it was new for our guests. The only warning I have is to check your bill very closely before signing. They automatically included a tip with the sales tax but then asked me at the bottom again to add a tip. Very deceptive and I will certainly scrutinize the bill much more closely if we decide to go back again.More infoSamba Brazilian GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Brazilian Steakhouse• Madison•4.6

- KKrisWisconsin •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024The food was fabulous, and it was great to have ham and prime rib along with the traditional turkey and gravy. The sides were exceptional - 4 kinds of potatoes, baked squash, green beans, and stuffing. The salad bar was awesome. And there were about 20 different desserts. It was all served buffet style, and despite the large number of guests being served, there was rarely a line. The Concourse staff are really professional and made everything flow smoothly. It was a splurge, but it was well worth it.More infoThe Madison Concourse HotelPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Madison•4.7

Surrounded by lakes, Madison is also home to an amazing variety of cuisines. Fish fry, steak, and pasta are all local favorites that you can enjoy with a view of the lake and a bottle of fine wine. However, Swiss, French, Spanish, and Italian cuisines are also widely available around the city. Whether or not you follow a vegetarian or gluten-free diet, you'll definitely want to try the award-winning falafel, which you can find just north of downtown. Be sure to also stop by one of Madison's dairy bars, which serve far more than just a handful of cheese-centric dishes.
