- WWadevipHouston •133 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoyed a wonderful dinner experience, with excellent service from Katie. The Mixed Tempura appetizer was wonderful, with nice pieces of calamari and shrimp. My Wife loved the Pumpkin Tom Kha soup, which is available with the pumpkin flavor only a limited time. I devoured the Crab Bisque, which is absolutely legendary. The Kang Ped with shrimp has become my favorite main dish. It's absolutely divine. Merlion is more than just a great Thai restaurant; it has a special vibe and atmosphere that exemplify the very best of what Seabrook, TX has to offer. We have been dining here for years, and the staff here have become like family to us. Don't forget to try a wine from their extensive wine list. They have a large selection of wines to suit almost any palate.More infoMerlion RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Thai• Kemah / Seabrook•4.8

Discover Kemah
Texas has some great restaurants and is known for its outstanding barbecue and Tex-Mex cuisines. Seabrook and Kemah, both located just outside of Houston, have a great selection of restaurants that range from wine bars that serve tapas to Asian, Mexican, and much more. If you're in the mood for some true barbecue, you'll find that baby back ribs, smoked brisket, and pulled pork sandwiches are staples on the menu at most BBQ joints. For those wanting true Tex-Mex, you won't want to pass up steak burritos, chicken enchiladas, or crispy-shelled tacos. If you're looking to have a nice night out or just for something more upscale, Seabrook and Kemah have some very nice steakhouses, seafood restaurants, and Italian bistros. Most eating establishments feature fresh cuts of meat since Kemah and Seabrook are located in cattle country.
