Great food Great service Great atmosphere. Unfortunately Velvet Sparrow is closing on Sunday 9th February. Sean and his team will be greatly missed. Everything on the cake stand was fresh and delicious. The waiter was lovely, very good at his job. Being a Tuesday it was quiet but very enjoyable. There was an interesting menu with some less common items like Osso Bucco. Our table was close to another with eight or so ‘ladies of around 40’ having a raucous party but fortunately they moved on soon. Our food was delicious but the choice was restricted by several things being “sold out” - and this was only about 18.30. The hen party perhaps? The staff were really excellent and our bill was adjusted a bit to compensate for unavailable items.
