Neighborly meets sophisticated at Red Owl, a modern tavern in the heart of Old City, just across from the Liberty Bell. Among soaring windows and cozy tables, the kitchen serves up smart, stylish takes on American staples (a cheesesteak never tasted as good as ours, made with premium shaved rib-eye). My family and I really enjoyed this place. We seated upstairs (mezzanine) and the table was super comfortable and clean. The menu was nice, and we really liked the Tavern Burger. I truly recommend this place.

Great food and service! There were three in our party and we all ordered something different! Burgers, omelette and a vegetarian dish— all yummy!

Visited in afternoon of the Super Bowl parade. The place was packed but the wait staff, kitchen and bar tenders did a great job. As always, food was fresh, hot and delicious. Red Owl never disappoints

My friend & I were in town for the weekend! We had planned to have dinner there Friday night, they accommodated us at the bar which was great! Food was absolutely amazing from the Brussels sprouts, sage & garlic fries and the steak I was in heaven !!! The drinks are fantastic as well. The staff is friendly and so accommodating! We were staying at the hotel for the wknd and planned to travel to other restaurants in area. Nope we enjoy all our meals at the Red owl! Breakfast was just as amazing! We can’t wait to go back!!!
