   Everything was above par. Nothing exceptional. But very good. I’d come back. Just don’t order the lobster or crabs. I owned a company t that used to service their tanks and they’re overcrowded and they serve dead fish that has been dead for a little while. Not caught and removed from the tank, then killed, then served. I’m talking about dead fish that had been left in the tank contaminating it being served. That wasn’t this visit for dinner though. That was observed multiple times for over a year.

   We had the Valentine Day Special of lobster and steak. It was very good and the dessert was incredible.

   Been patronizing restaurant since it opened. Food and service has always been great. But the last two times we noticed food isn’t as good as in the past. Servings are much smaller and isn’t hot. Just warm. Last night the restaurant wasn’t busy so kitchen behind isn’t an excuse. We also noticed that they are putting a lot of bean sprouts in the chow mein. Too much filler, not enough noodles. The walnut shrimp was tasty, but small serving for $26; highest price amongst local Chinese restaurants with much less shrimp. Too much walnuts. Service by Mac was excellent as usual. He’s the best server in town. I hope Jenkins fixes it.

   Red lantern has the best Chinese Cuisine; Best food at Thunder valley hands down. Food always hot & made Fresh

   Dined here many times. This trip the server made us feel rushed and was short. The food was mediocre, bland. Not what we’ve experienced in the past. Disappointed for sure.

   Really like most of the food here but I hate the cigarette smoke. The place needs way better ventilation or they need to close up the front so the smoke can’t get in. The fried rice isn’t great though. Honey walnut prawns, sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls are all very good.

   We came before an event at The Venue. Book your reservation ahead of time like we did and enjoy a relaxing meal before your concert, etc. We had the Filipino Pancit and Kung Pao Chicken. The Pancit was traditional and made to order. The Kung Pao was good but could have been spicier. We felt the price was right for what we ordered. Our waitress was attentive but not "in your face." We'll definitely be coming back.
