   What a wonderful dining experience and in a location I had driven past on several occasions but had no idea how rustic and charming it was on the inside. We can’t wait to go back and dine outside along the ‘Trout River.’ The food is impeccably prepared and the service top notch.

   Rainbow lodge never disappoints. Food/ambience and service. However our server last night was phenomenal. His name was something like Lita? German name. He was attentive but not overbearing. Very professional but also personable.

   We had a nice experience at Rainbow Lodge. The restaurant is elegant and we had great service. My wife’s food, the sliced beef tenderloin, was perfect. However, I ordered the mixed grill to be prepared medium well, but instead it came out rare. Both of the red meats were very red inside, with one (I believe it was the venison) almost liquidy dark red when I cut into it, and as a result I couldn’t eat it. So I would recommend cutting into the meat with the server there when they first bring it to the table to be sure it’s done correctly. By the time I noticed it, it was too late and I had lost my appetite.

   We had the wild game sampler, rainbow trout, and sea bass. Excellent. Brigitte was our server and she took excellent care of us.

   Lo, the server, did a great job on helping us understand the menu, providing great service and entertainment. The food was very tasty, the Antelope was prepared nicely, and the drinks were great. We also sat at the bar after eating and had a great time there also. I was hoping they'd have a carrot cake or brownie for dessert. The one negative is the steak knifes, they cut great but are curved and not very stable
