   My family had dinner on a Sunday night for a birthday celebration. The server was very professional and accommodating. The food and drinks were excellent - great quality and taste. It is a great place for a celebration. The birthday girl enjoyed every minute and we did too! We have been to rails for a few different occasions and really love the atmosphere. But want to give a big shout out to the staff - they really make the difference!

   First time at Rails and between the service and the food, everything was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Karolyn was outstanding and was super friendly and very knowledgeable. We will for sure be coming back very soon!

   We were so disappointed by our experience last night at Rail's Steakhouse. We booked a 4:30pm reservation about three weeks prior and put in a seating request for the "side parlor room the the fireplace near the end of the bar area." Unfortunately the request was not honored and the hostess refused to relocate our table to the side room - despite the dining area being relatively empty. Then, my son and I ordered two NY Strip Steaks medium well along with a mac & cheese without breadcrumbs on top. The steaks came out medium rare and the mac & cheese was smothered in breadcrumbs. The waiter took the food back, but it took an exceedingly long time for the steaks to come back out from the kichen. And by that time, the others in our party were well into their meal. Overall, the experience was quite unremarkable and unsatisfying. The timing and quality of the food as well as the attitude and demeanor of the staff was subpar. At other steakhouses, there tends to be an elevated experience - employees go the extra mile to make guests feel valued and well taken care of. Last evening, Rails fell short. Significantly short. I had been a huge fan of the restaurant, and this was our family's fourth visit in the past 4-5 months... but after last night, however, I truly do not have any desire to return.

   $17 Cosmo. I asked for house vodka. Bill said it was Grey Goose. Seems like a lot of $$$ for a little cranberry juice a spritz of orange and a lime wedge

   It was my husband‘s birthday and we always go there for special occasions and we always get the Io tuna well this time it was well it was overcooked. It was horrible. I couldn’t even eat mine and the place wasn’t even crowded so it should’ve came out perfect

   After driving an hour to meet friends we checked in one HOUR early (7) before our reservation to enjoy time with our party of 4. Our reservation was for 8:15 PM. Enjoyed mocktails, wine, and appetizers at the main bar. 8:00 we went to the desk and they said they’d check on our table. I reminded them we were at the main bar. Back 15 minutes later to the desk and was told they were still checking on a table in the Speakeasy. But we could go downstairs to wait. It was after 8:30 that we finally got seated. Service was pleasant but slow. Didn’t love the sea bass dish small portion. Steaks were good. Manager gave dessert on the house due to the wait. Which wait? Dinner took 2.5 hours and disappointed to be seated by the bathroom at an awkward table with wavy couch. A good night with friends but annoyed with the amount of $$$ spent on a place that didn’t deliver as we’d expected.

   Disappointed in the service, despite having a reservation and arriving 20 minutes prior to the reservation we had to wait and actually got seated at a table after our actual reservation time. What was the point of making a reservation if we still had to wait, while others arriving after us where being seated right away? The customer service in this place was mediocre for the price. Would not be returning.

    Great spot. A little noisy by the bar area but overall a very nice place to dine
