Great menu and upscale food for sure but priced beyond anything remotely reasonable. Service very slow with drinks. Also had a reservation confirmation in hand but hostess could not find it then shunned us for using Open Table.

Zuma in Boston is as usual a great restaurant but do not eat the big fruit platter when the good fruit is out of season so, don’t order it in this season !

We enjoyed our food and ambience. But the restaurant failed us in service. We had an 8pm reservation. We were finally seated 30 minutes late after arriving on time. I find it ridiculous that a restaurant would have a reservation cancellation policy of charging $60 if you cancel only to turn around and arrive on time and have wait 30 minutes to seated.

I had an amazing experience at this place! The cocktails were top-notch—crafted beautifully and packed with unique flavors that made each sip a delight. The food was equally impressive; you could taste the care and creativity in every bite, with flavors that kept surprising me. From the atmosphere to the service, everything made the visit special. I’ll definitely be coming back to enjoy more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

With my last experience about 6 months ago, I have high expectation to their omakase menu. We chose Premium last time and it was an amazing experience. So this time, we figured to try something different and decided on the Seasonal omakase menu. Not only the server didn’t fully present us with the information on each dish regarding the ingredients and how it was prepared, it feels funny that some of the dishes don’t even have 3 pieces of the same item for the three of us to try out. It’s not that hard to make three separate pieces of tempura! It feels like they were rushing in the beginning where they will serve two or three dishes at the same time. Then there was a 20 minutes break without anything. The server did explain that she will check with the manager for the status of our main course. Again, two or three dishes were served all together. Another disappointment is that they skimped on the fresh wasabi. On the sushi dish, the server comes by and grated a tiny bit of the fresh wasabi for the table. It’s surely not going to be enough for the three of us, but there are some “fake” wasabi (those made from powder) that comes with the dish. I’m not understanding for a high-end restaurant like this, why would they even consider serving those cheap wasabi ? You can say I’m picky, but my understanding of the omakase concept is for us to be able to taste each main ingredient and the way the chef prepares it. This mixing of the taste pellet gets us so confused and a truly disappointing birthday meal.

Expensive dinner, the sushi was good but the sauteed vegetables where salty with a thick asian sauce.
