At zoku, we are deeply committed to quality in every aspect of our menu. We use seasonal local vegetables and carefully chosen rice from Japan to enhance the flavors of our yakitori. We also work with local sommeliers in our wine selection, many of which are regionally sourced, that complement our appetizers and skewers. Our chefs have trained in “Hinai Jidori”, a prestigious level of yakitori training, dedicating thousands of hours in Japan to perfect their craft. With careful attention to flavors, textures, and colors, the dishes are crafted to provide a thoughtful and immersive dining experience rather than just a quick bite.

Fried chicken was excellent as was yakatori chicken. Bbq mushrooms were good. One of my favorite foods, Yaki onigiri was ok but was not crispy on the outside as it should be when grilled.

Marvelous experience. This place is a real treat in Redondo, such a nice change from the other options around it. The skewers are all tasty and gracefully presented. The service is attentive and efficient, and as the place filled with customers, it started to feel more warm and communal. We will definitely be back!

This is such a gem! Our little village needed this restaurant. This was our 2nd visit and Zoku is consistently delicious, attention to detail, and friendly/excellent service. We enjoy the Hatate Carpaccio, Large Ebi app, Karaage (both), Chicken wings, Chicken with mustard/garlic, and Japanese A5 wagyu (special). The chicken soup is comforting and delicious. We pair the food with a perfectly poured Sapporo and a bottle of Kubota sake. Looking forward to returning soon!
