   Wow. Foodie here. This local island gem is worth the trip. Located in Waikiki, on a side street. Adorable Japanese ambiance. Amazing sushi et all. Order the fresh catch of day. We had two cuts of Tuna - melt in your mouth fresh. Great sake menu (if you’re an expert, they have some very high end). And great service. Prices very reasonable. Go for happy hour!

   This is one of my go-to places in Honolulu. I really enjoy the vibe of the place. It's casual but also a bit hip, diverse clientele. Some of the food always surprises me, this time the soft pillows of tofu...and my dining partner's salmon was a delicious surprise as well. Realize I need to work my way through the menu a little bit more.

   Service and food were very good. Ambiance was not terribly interesting, but clean. Our dishes were overpriced given the setting and lack of any view. We had equal quality sushi with a nice view for less or same cost in Waikiki.

   Food was good and our server was pleasant. Cute restaurant. Negatives: our final dish took over 15 min to come out. Hostess was rude and tried to seat us in a stuffy back room far away from all other diners, we had to tell her to move us to the main outdoor area.
