For 20years, Chef Victor Wang and Owner Chiara Covelli have reigned over their highly acclaimed restaurant… Zen Forrest… known for its Chinese, Korean, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Singapore. Award winning lunches and Dinner. Private events, cooking classes. Zen Forrest was known for amazing food, sake, wine and imported and local beers.
When the lease came up at Zen Forrest and they couldn't stay Chiara thought it might be the end of Zen Forrest in New Port Richey. As good things do happen, with the assistance of the new partner, Jay Patel, he found the perfect location on Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey. It is a larger restaurant accommodating over 150 guests, with a Sushi Bar and a sociable, full liquor cocktail bar.

Chef Victor and partners are pleased to share their excitement with loyal Zen Forrest customers and friends and they look forward to hosting you to a new ZEN Kitchen & Bar experience.

While the music (female artist) was enjoyable the noise was too high for conversation. It encouraged rowdy behavior from the bar which filtered loudly into the dining area.

The service was top shelf, the food was great and the ambience was very cool! Truly the gem of downtown New Port Richey. I had the lamb shank and it was incredible.

Our group consisted of returning and first time customers. We all loved the food, the ambience of the restaurant and cocktails. Our server, Michelle was awesome and would ask for her again upon our return. She was friendly, gave great recommendations and always checking in with us.

Love the restaurant decor. The food unfortunately continues to be inconsistent at times. Ordered the gulf shrimp lo mein and it was made with angel hair pasta which was cooked al dente. Didn't even bother to tell them because I was just so amazed that it was served this way. Love the Zen Palmer but time to get the food service back on track.

We loved the atmosphere and food. We sat in the bar area at a table which I thought was a better atmosphere than the dining room. The cocktails were very good. We had the Japanese Whiskey Old Fashioned. Sushi was amazing and so was the general Tao chicken entree. Wait staff was friendly and helpful choosing items from the menu! We will be back soon!

Food was good - be sure to specify how spicy, otherwise it's usually too hot. I ordered the Chai Iced Tea, had it before about 3-4 months ago. The glass I got was 1/3 the size of last time for the same price! Inflation is not 300%. So be careful ordering and ask to be sure.
