   Loved Zaytinya!!! Wonderfully fresh mezze plates & a lovely ambiance. The scallops, meatballs and brussels were my favorites of the night. As a big fan of dips, I also really appreciate how each dish comes with/ on a bed of some sort of sauce hahaha delicious to scoop up with extra pita. Thought it was a great value for the price too. We ordered 8 mezze plates + 2 desserts and it came out to a little over $50 (pre tip) per person for 3.

   What a wonderful experience and delicious dinner! The service was exemplary, the dishes five star! Will definitely be one of my favorites!

   The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and worked hard to accommodate the allergies we had at the table. The drinks were clever, unique, and tasty. The food was just ok. The hummus and tatziki were amazing but the rest of the food fell flat. The dolmades were so cold it felt like they were recently taken out of the the freezer, and the steak was a bit boring. We’re so bummed as the two previous restaurants (Prima Donna & Etta) were really enjoyable, we had high hopes.

   We had a reservation at 7:45 and were only seated at our table at 8:40 (nearly an hour later). A manager never came to speak to us or apologize- only one of the hosts. We were promised dishes to be comp’d for our wait and this was not applied to our table or our check until I went to our server after she handed our bill to us to tell her what happened and they comp’d us one or two dishes. The food was pretty good but the experience left a pretty bad taste in our mouths and we probably will not dine here again because of that experience.

   Food was delish! Brussels sprouts, fried eggplant, apple dessert with a mediterranean type name, spicy cumin meatballs were all standouts. The server was a delight. The Magic Carpet gin cocktail was amazing. I couldn’t speak to the noise level bc it was the “early bird” dinner time and just post LA conflagration and we were the only guests. We shall return!
