   We loved the ambiance and the welcoming vibe. The fried chicken was so hot, steam appeared as we tore the breast in half. It was crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. The mac & cheese, butter beans and cabbage tasted amazing! The cornbread was so buttery and scrumptious. Our server Arianne, was very pleasant and kind. Thank you! We arrived from the airport and the first place, my son wanted to dine at, was Willie Mae’s Nola! I highly recommend dining here. It is the best!

   You know that a restaurant knows how to fry chicken when you can eat the meat without the skin and have it just as flavorful as the fabulous skin, and Willie Mae's has nailed that. Fabulous southern sides that taste like Sunday dinner every day. Great experience all around.

   Our experience was amazing. The menu was so well explained which helped us share so many dishes between six of us. Catfish and fried chicken were beyond delicious and we couldn't choose a favorite side because they were all delicious.

   Great ambience! Great service! Food came out in a timely manner! Food was amazing! Juicy,tasty fried chicken, tasty Mac n cheese, yams and butter beans! I highly recommend to anyone visiting NOLA!

   The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. Our server (Tenesia) did everything she could to make our evening absolutely perfect. It was our last night in NOLA and I was so happy we chose this restaurant. We will be back for sure!

    The food at Willie Mae's was excellent! Most of our table enjoyed the fried chicken and it was some of the best we've tasted! Cocktails were creative and good too, although the time they took to be made seemed a bit long as we ordered them first and they did not come out until after we were eating salads/apps. Service was friendly and attentive. We had wanted to have our party of 8 seated together but I was told on the phone when trying to inquire about a reservation that the max table size was for 6. Outside of our group of 8, there were maybe 6 other individuals dining in the restaurant and tables could have been easily slid together (w/o blocking aisles) to accommodate a larger group being able to sit together. We had a great meal and would recommend going, but it was very empty (for how highly rated they are) and dimly lit in the restaurant and in that respect, the atmosphere was a bit of a miss for me.
