   They must be doing something right being my third visit, but first special occasion. However, I am still not disappointed at the service offered and, as expected, satisfied. Well done!

   Food was of good standard. Pity about the bar manager who was rude from the outset. He then refused to serve us drinks after we had settled our table bill (over £300) as we were going to an event next door. After complaining to the manager we and others got served. We have all been put off going back which is a shame!

   Roast dinner was outstanding. The flavours in the meat, the veg, the gravy, an absolute delight and one of the best roast dinners i have ever eaten. The Crepe desert was a big let down. Cold crepes that were tough and tasteless. They were left, we werent asked by our server so made no comment.

   Great food for both of us, really hot and flavoursome. Had lambshank sheperds pie for one and the other was fish and chips. Decent portions too, served with a smile 5*

   Excellent place with first class service, Maki looked after us fantastically and was very helpful along the way. Food was excellent and well presented.

   My wife is vegetarian. Only 3 choices one of which wasn't available. Chose Mushrooom Papardelle. Was bland and tasteless. My fish & chips were decent. Breakfast in the morning. Waited 45 mins due we think to having to cook a vegetarian/vegan breakfast

   First impression were good. The venue is lovely inside. Once we were seated we waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken and this was only due to my husband going to the bar to ask if could order, when he was told they had a large drink order from the wedding party and would get to us in a minute. However a table that arrived after us had their order taken first. Once the order was taken - after several attempts due to there not being several dishes available due to no ingredients, we then waited an hour for the first fish to be served which was soup for the child in our party. The guy who served the soup stated they hadn’t put and greens on the plate as “it’s for a kid”- doesn’t matter who it is for, if it comes with a garnish then it comes with a garnish. When the rest of the food came out and order of fries was incorrect and a side was missing. The beef stories I had had plenty of meat I it but it was so fatty I had to remove it before I could eat. I feel more customer service training is required for the staff as all we got were excuses when simply telling us there were issues in the kitchen or there would be a wait would have sufficied. Such a shame as our experience could have been great.

   Passed many times and always wanted to try. Will be back soon for sure. Tasty food and lovely service. Highly recommend it.

   All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful and gave good suggestions. Particularly Tom with the dessert suggestion of the fruit crumble sundae! Food was excellent quality - three of us had the roast, and one had fish and chips. It was relatively quiet as we had an early meal. Facilities were clean, and we all came away feeling we'd had a nice, happy evening out, and we would be happy to return the next time we visit the area.

    Food was good, with several good options on the menu. Portions were good and prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. Service however was lacking, with seemingly one person flying around driving the service and a number of more junior team members drifting by without initiative to check on tables.
