Our bar and pub menus have all been crafted around local produce from Norfolk.

Like the seasons, menus at the White Horse Holme change to reflect the fresh ingredients that our fishermen, farmers and suppliers catch, grow and produce for us.

Our menu is designed to be shared amongst friends or ordered for individuals. We recommend a side dish with our large plates. Dishes suitable for sharing are indicated on the menu.

Dogs are welcome in our bar and dining area.
We welcome walk ins in our bar and restaurant as well as on our heated decking area outside.

Fabulous place to have lunch and I’ll definitely come back for dinner. Caitlin and Bradley were excellent, friendly and fun members of staff. Made you feel very welcome. Very dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

Some hits and misses on the food front. Succulent cod cheeks with just the right amount of spice, tasty (but disconcertingly orange) potted shrimps, a flavourful venison pie (with a slightly thin sauce) and a delicious mussels in white wine. The apple and bramble trifle was a delight but the bread and butter pudding was one of the misses - it was dry in parts, had undisclosed chocolate in and lacked any of the usual flavours one associates with bread and butter pudding. Thankfully the accompanying custard helped me get through it. The staff were excellent - a couple of them seemed relaxed (one of which was the ‘boss’) whilst one seemed a little manic but, that said, appeared to be doing the vast majority of the heavy lifting and was being effectual. The addition of ‘discretionary’ service always riles and makes me never return somewhere - without the service being put on for me I’d have actually given more in a tip, as it was deserved - just the way it should be. Just because a lot of restaurants are doing this repugnant practice doesn’t mean you should follow suit and cheapen yourselves in doing so.

We had the February lunch menu. 2 courses for £20. The crayfish cocktail was delicicious with a generous portion of crayfish. The home made bread was delightful. The Shepherds Pie was stupendous served with kale, peas, and broccoli.

Limited choice and then even more limited by a number of options being off the menu already - at 6pm on a Saturday evening where diners had booked days / weeks in advance.
