   Loud thumping music totally spoilt the enjoyment of the view of the water and clear blue skies. Majority of people eating there at lunch time were seniors and choice or “non choice” of what was assumed to be “music” ruined the whole experience.

   Breakfast was awesome. I had the Whitby poached eggs with pulled pork, picked cabbage and homemade hashbrown with hollandaise sauce. Best breakfast ever! The service was both engaging and pleasant and a little cheeky, but very welcomed and received. Kids had a ball.

   When I chose noise level at energetic, I didn’t meant it to be positive. Every time I come to Bendigo I have always come to the Boardwalk. Though it has changed hands I still did a booking. I love the lake, the environment and just the general feeling of the place. Today as soon I I parked my car, I could hear loud disco/night club style music. My heart was pounding. I didn’t enjoy my food and experience due to the music. Please remove the DJ and music coz it adds 0 to anyone’s experience at this restaurant.

   Staff were friendly and excited to see the two dogs we had. The in house DJ was odd but not unpleasant sound at a good level that didn't interfere with conversation.

   Lovely food. Decent wait to be seated despite booking, get they were busy but not a great start to be walked past and not acknowledged for some time. Food made up for it though and cheerful staff. Only one other thing - would suggest serving water to table and not having a self-service setup. A bit ordinary to have to get yourself for table service and conscious we weren’t the oldest group in the room. Appreciate someone must have asked for the music to be tuned down and that was done! Overall a really nice experience, wish them well!

   Wonderful place to eat - we were outside because we had our dogs with us, but it was just lovely overlooking the lake - we’ll be back time and time again.
