Located at the entrance to the Hill Country in Driftwood, Texas, Whiskey Ridge will serve elevated home-style offerings featuring Texas meat and fresh Gulf Coast Seafood cooked over our coal fire grill. Very professional friendly hostesses and our server was very personable. The food was very good and I would recommend to anyone that wanted to dine at a higher dining place . Will definitely come back again!

It was our first time there and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and sizable portions. The atmosphere was perfect and cozy by the fireplaces on the patio with blankets. Overall a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to go back and try some other dinner option.

My husband ordered chicken fried ribeye and an old fashioned, I ordered chicken fried chicken and a cosmopolitan, we got an order of corn and spinach to share. The food was delicious and the portions were large, we brought half home for tomorrow’s brunch. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere great. We did sit on the porch as the main room was very noisy.

This place is a gem in the middle of nowhere. The setting is amazing and the decor is top notch. The food, especially the chicken fried steak, is superb. Top the food off with the whiskey cocktails which are perfectly made. I had the frozen old fashioned. Well, 2 of them!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have no complaints so this is offered as constructive commentary. There were service hiccups but in fairness our server advised it was her first day and she hadn’t realized we were part of her station until we asked a hostess to send us a server. Honesty goes a long way with me and she did everything possible to make up the 30-40 minute delay in taking our first drink order. We were not angry and it did not mar our experience in any way. There was also an episode at the bar and only 2 bartenders on duty so they had their hands full. Keith, who has served us before, stepped in to help in the drink orders. Again, we will continue to be customers because the food and ambiance are exemplary and we know that things happen and everyone can have a rough night. Keep doing what you’re doing right and we will be back. Thanks for an otherwise great night (our delayed family Christmas dinner).
