   First time at this restaurant and couldn’t be happier! Our server was great and we enjoyed our meal and drinks so much. It was Pretty loud when we arrived, and it made it hard to hear, but overall great experience.

   I moved here from Southern California where good restaurants are plentiful and I can be a bit finicky. My friends in the Round Rock area have highly recommended whiskey cake, but for some reason I could never make it to the restaurant. Unfortunately due to a death in the family, I thought it best to take my parents out for a late lunch to lift their spirits, and this restaurant did not disappoint! Everything was stellar from the excellent service by Manny to the unbelievably delicious signature dessert!

   Everything from food to service was amazing! We had the pork chop with mac and cheese, and a burger and fries. The cook on the pork was second to none! Logan, our waiter, was amazing, personable, and attentive! He expertly answered questions and provided great recommendations to navigate our food sensitivities. I will definitely dine again at Whiskey Cafe!

   Food was very good and if we hadn’t had to wait 30 minutes for a table that we had reserved, it would have been a 5 star review.

   We love Whiskey Cake!! Good and atmosphere are always great! The service was very slow last night as they were very busy with groups of people. However, even after the crowd thinned out, service was still slow. We were there for almost 3 hours. We had 2 appetizers, 7 entrees and 2 desserts to eat. Drinks were very slow getting to the table and 1 ended up being comped it took so long. We were about to cancel it when it was finally delivered.

   Tried Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar. We really enjoyed it. The atmosphere, service and food was great. Huge liquor menu and non alcoholic drinks. Tried crab fritters, candid bacon (the jam was so good and bacon was tender). Kids enjoyed the kids meal and my wife got the Rotisserie Farm Bird and I got the smoked tri tip dip. The sandwich was delicious and loved the home made kettle chips. Didn’t do dessert but looked good. Would make the drive again from Leander. Tried it before going to Dell Diamond.

    My server was very patient with as this was my first visit. She helped me with with some great choices from the menu. I ate more than I should have to include their whiskey cake, namesake, and tried to eat the whole thing but gave up and asked for a to go box. I will make an additional trip to try more food items.
