We’re so excited to bring Whalers to Bay Shore and share our love of amazing food and great drinks with the community. Our menu is modern American cuisine, so you’ll find the classics that you’re used to but with our own little spin. In addition to our casual dining and nightlife, we also offer full catering services. With huge windows and views of the Great South Bay, Whalers will be the perfect location to host your next event!

We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but we cannot guarantee where you will be seated. Additionally, reservations are unavailable for dockside dining, as outdoor tables are first come first serve.

Whalers is modern and fresh with a nod to what it’s like growing up on the Great South Bay. Located right in the middle of the action down on Maple Ave, we are looking forward to getting customers who live locally, but also those who are heading over to Fire Island.

Ever since the very first time that I went to Whalers I keep going back. T food is delicious and the staff are all fabulous! It has become my favorite restaurant.

Thankfully the kitchen has consistently turned out good food. The current wait staff seems to have its act together. A little uneven in refining drinks. Could definitely have grown the check if more attentive. Waiting for the check is always annoying to me. Might just be a me problem.

Took my sons here for a birthday dinner. Our drinks. apps& dessert were good but entrees weren’t . My seafood stuffed shrimp entree was dry & my son’s dinner they said was bland. Think it’s time to change up the menu a bit.

The short rib was amazing and so was the shrimp pasta with lobster cream sauce! Inside so pretty but it was nice to eat outside by the water too! Quick & responsive service! Overall we had a nice & delicious family meal out.

Enjoyed our first experience at Whalers. Appetizers, main courses, and drinks were all great, and the waiter was extremely attentative.

First time here. I highly recommend Whalers for sure! Had the Summer salad for brunch before it goes away and you can't get anything more refreshing than that ever!! Love this place I wanted to try everything on the menu & just sitting there the ferries go by. You must go try this place next season!! I know I will be there!
