   The best fine dining in Red Deer. The mashed potatoes are heaven, the best-mashed potatoes I've ever tasted

   We've dined here many times, but tonight was not a great food night. Steaks were bland, served warm at best. Creme brulee had way too thick if a sugar crust. Fortunately, The rest of the meal was delicious. Price seems to escalate every visit. Ending up being nearly a $400 meal for the two of us (incl tip) and only with their cheapest bottle of wine for a beverage. Hard to pay this much for a lack luster steak experience. Ambience is what sells it the most, always very romantic and elegant.

   This place is a perfect get away for a date night a bit on the expensive side but worth the dollar food was amazing service was amazing , hearing the crackling of the fireplace was beautiful . And me and my wife don’t drink and the waitress was so good about it would recommend !

   Over 45 minutes, no service. We left. Went there tonight for my wife’s birthday. I made a reservation online, and they had it when we got there. We arrived on time and were escorted to a table within a couple minutes. Unfortunately, that was our last interaction with staff. After 45 minutes we left without so much as being offered water. We were upstairs at a table for 2 and there were only 2 other tables seated. They did not seem over run. It was our first time being there so we held out longer than I feel we should have because of the reputation of most other experiences. On our way out I let the nice girl at the front door know why we’re leaving. She apologized, but nothing more than that.

   For gluten free options they do not have a dedicated fryer. The meal lacked taste and the cook on the steak was definitely less than it was supposed to be. The server even noticed that the steak was quite rare and did not offer to make it right. One of the sides for a meal did not come out until the meal was done. Disappointing overall given a high end price point.

   I came for dinner with a very dear friend and it was perfect in every way. The food was excellent and even enough to take some home. Thanks, will certainly come again.

   A mixed review for our party of 5 adults. Atmosphere and ambience were quite lovely, the ladies each received a rose at the end of the evening which was a nice surprise but the overall quality of the food was disappointing, especially for the high price point of over $100/entree. 3 of our 5 entrees arrived barely lukewarm, tough NY Strip steak, very small and overdone rack of lamb, no bread service or amuse bouche. The vegetables and salad were good as was the pumpkin brulee. We asked the waiter to let the chef know that the meals were barely warm but we would still eat them. He said he would see what he could do but he didn't return. At the end of our meal, he arrived with another steak and order of rack of lamb, which we had not requested and were too full to eat so took home. The next morning, I realized we had been charged for 6 entrees vs. 5! After calling the restaurant, they will refund the one entree.
