   We had a lovely breakfast brunch for mothering Sunday. A lovely touch with the Mother's day biscuits gift, thankyou. A little wait on food as understandably a very busy time being Mother's day, but when the food came out it was hot and delicious, the best bubble and squeak!! We throughly enjoyed it. Nothing was too much trouble for the waitresses they were friendly and efficient- thankyou for making our Mother's day a lovely one.

   The Watch House has sadly gone downhill in recent years. The pizzas used to be very good and the menu more varied and interesting. The pizza base is good but the toppings on the 'ratatouille' are bland, whether or not you have dairy or vegan cheese. The only nibbles on offer were onion rings! No olives or nuts, nothing! And no vegan dessert on offer apart from those little cakes bought in packets (no thanks). The chocolate brownies used to be vegan but are now cruelty full. A step backwards, not forwards. The young man serving us was very good, although our table wasn't wiped, we weren't asked about allergies (as I recall), and we weren't told about the specials board. Come on Watch House, please up your game!!

   Again very enjoyable experience however we felt the hot drinks could have been hotter especially on a cold morning like today

   Apart from our waitress, the experience was very ordinary. Roast Dinner or Pizza! £18.50 for roast - 2 Potatoes and one slither of Brisket. The vegetables were very sparce also. Even had to pay extra for stuffing @ £3.50. Asked for English Mustard to go with my Beef and they didn't have any. Two of us had Roasts and 3 had Pizza. Considering all the veg and meats were already cooked, we were told not to expect the meals to come out at the same time. They could plate the roasts once the Pizzas were ready. Drinks are also expensive £6.10 for pint of Birra Moretti. Coffee was almost coffee free. Very week. Overall - we won't go back again!

   Great food, cooked as requested. Medium rare steak was medium rare. However, scallop was on the small side.

    Very enjoyable experience. The food, service and ambience were all very good. Pleasant and efficient serving team, and food well presented.
