About this restaurant

  • Great for scenic views
  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
The South Shore's newest Dining -& Event Venue- Nestled in the heart of Wareham's historic district, Warren's Harborview offers breathtaking views of the town's iconic river narrows, bustling harbors, vibrant foliage, and landmarks such as Besse Park and the Narrows Bridge. Our newly constructed event venue and restaurant beautifully reflects the exposed timber frame architecture of the 18th-century building that once stood on this very site. Steeped in history, this location played a pivotal role in the nail-making and shipbuilding industries, which were essential in supporting America during the War of 1812. In fact, it was this significance that led the British Royal Navy to launch an attack here via the S.S. Nimrod on June 13, 1814.

I live in Wareham and heard positive reviews (when they first opened for Brunch), about Warren’s Harborview, so I thought I would try going for Easter Brunch, with my family, instead of cooking. I had since heard mixed reviews, but I was optimistic. The place looked impressive walking into the restaurant, but what I found inside was so disappointing. Foyer was dingy, no ambiance, tee shirts for sale on a small shelf, cheap decor. Still, I was optimistic. The bonus was seated near the windows, but that was the only bonus. I had to go grab a server, to ask for drinks for our table. That was fine, the server was very nice. Then we preceded to go to the line of food. Very embarrassing that my family had to witness, young and inexperienced servers, waiting on customers. The utensils were completely covered in food, nothing was labeled, felt like a mess going through the line. Shame on the owners, for allowing these inexperienced servers to wait on people, and be “the face “, of your establishment! The food was mediocre, nothing special, and did not deserve the high prices. Our table was never cleared of used dishes, we watched young people cleaning other tables around us, joking around, throwing napkins, etc. I give this restaurant a 2 out of 10

Service was terrible between the buffet servers giving you three potatoes for home fries and having to ask for two pieces of bacon was ridiculous for $50 Then there was the weight staff she came over once to get the drinks. She came over again to get refills and then never came back with the bill. We waited 45 minutes for her to come back after asking for her and still she did not bring the bill. Or take my credit card her name was Michelle. We waited for the receipt and she never returned. Ridiculous. We will not be back. This was highly recommended to us and for $50 ahead plus drinks and a tip no way.

Easter brunch for my mother and myself was overall excellent. Shining stars were the shrimp and salmon on the raw bar, pear & gorgonzola salad, prime rib, and desserts. A couple of things were good but I think we should've waited for a new batch to come out. For instance the stuffed fish was a bit dried out, but we had the last couple of pieces at the time. Mom had white sangria and I had red and both were very good. Our server, Tracey, was extremely pleasant and accommodating. She even asked Chef to get me a more medium rare slice of prime rib!

We were a party of 10 and we had a private room which was perfect. He was great ambience was great. The server Lisa was right on target took our order for drinks promptly let us sit for a while to have our cocktails. Food was OK we are allowed to sit and just enjoy ourselves so thank you for that opportunity to be in a private room overlooking the water and enjoying the experience for our first time we were celebrating a 50th birthday party. The birthday girl did not want any recognition for that, but we still had a wonderful time.

We had a fabulous dinner. We ordered the general tso’s chicken tenders and the French dip eggrolls. Both were delicious. We also had Cesar salads which were really good. For our main course we had the fish and chips, pasta, Warren’s four corner’s special and the miso salmon, all were fantastic. The strawberry shortcake shooters were delicious. The server was great. We will definitely be back!
