Welcome to Vistro Prime, a beloved neighborhood steakhouse in the heart of downtown Hinsdale, Illinois. Formerly known as Vistro, this establishment underwent a transformation in March 2021 under the culinary direction of Chef Paul Virant. At Vistro Prime, you can indulge in a delightful array of traditional steakhouse offerings such as juicy steaks, savory chops, and fresh seafood, alongside the familiar and beloved signature dishes that have captured the hearts of our patrons.

    Food here is incredible. Server was friendly but not exceptional. Bussing was aggressive- removing plates as last bites were still being chewed and water glasses over filled. Dessert here is the best! Don’t miss the butter cake. One of my favorite restaurants around!

    It was our first visit to Vistro, and we had a fantastic experience. The food and wine were delicious, and our server, Alfredo, was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

    Rob Martino’s Valentine’s Day specials were particularly good, as were Angelyne’s special desserts. Julian’s service (with the rest of the team) tied it all together very nicely.

    Excellent server who timed everything perfectly. Food was excellent. It happened to be restaurant week, but we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Could not have been more pleased

    One of our favorite local go to Hinsdale restaurants. We usually make a 5:00 pm reservation because the next reservation can’t be made until 7 45pm We usually sprit a Wedge Salad…big enough for two. One of my favorite appetizers is mussels with toast points..20-25 nice size per serving…works as a main for me. Tried Bananas Foster for dessert with soft serve ice cream…really good for (again)split for two.
