   The food was delicious, and the staff in this family-owned restaurant was friendly and attentive. The portions are huge, but if you can save room for dessert, I highly recommend the tiramisu. It’s the best I’ve ever had!

   Amore ❤️Tom Verri has built an amazing authentic Italian cucina, it looks feels smells and tastes directly like the very best from Arthur Ave in Brooklyn- the best bread, olive oil, great wine list, homemade pasta, Bistecca alla Fiorentina, 🥩oh wow and even the Tiramisu and Cannoli are legit !!!    As always, Verri's was excellent. Madison was an excellent server, and every entree was delicious. My guests enjoyed the shrimp scampi and chicken parmigiana while I loved the amazing meatballs. So well prepared, well presented, and with outstanding service. Best Italian anywhere!

   We stumbled on to this little intimate Italian restaurant in Hendersonville quite by accident. Originally hoped to get into another restaurant nearby but it was booked. So we "settled" for Verri's. Wow, were we lucky. The food was extraordinary. My wife predicted it would be good when the side salads (we ordered Caesar salad) and bread were served. She ordered ravioli with cheese and walnuts and I had chicken piccata. Her pasta was rich and creamy; my entree served over penne pasta was just right with lemon and capers. One modest warning: there's not much parking. We ate early because we were heading into Asheville for an event, but I imagine this could be a challenge later in the evening.

   Don’t sit by the door on a cold evening or you’ll wish you were sporting your warmest sweater and want to keep your jacket on. It was our first time there and I’d try it once more. We ordered calamari to share which was very tasty, but the portion was skimpy. For my main entree I had linguini with clams, but it lacked flavor. The others at the table said their meals were okay to pretty good. Dessert was a hit…cheesecake and a cannoli.

    Excellent service & nice atmosphere. There were 4 of us and we each enjoyed what we ordered. Only one issue and that was the music (recorded, not live). It was too loud and same songs played over and over. How often should anyone have to listen to The Twelve Days of Christmas?
