Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

    Our chef's counter offers 4 seats with an exclusive view into the kitchen. 5-course chefs menu with optional wine pairing. An outstanding farm-to-table meal created right in front of you while you chat with our team of talented chefs. When booking, please share dietary restrictions. Note: Our menu for the chef's counter experience is ideal for adventurous diners. This menu changes daily and not all dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated. Please allow at least 2.5 hours for your dinner.

    Ring in the New Year with us at Urban Hearth for a very special evening of food, wine and togetherness. Enjoy a 5 course Farm to Table chef's tasting menu with an optional wine pairing, specialty cocktails and mocktails. Complimentary glass of bubbles and some lovely surprises. We can accommodate some dietary restrictions, call or message us directly for questions. $160 per person. Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice is required for all cancellations or guest will be subject to a $160 per person fee.

    Join us at Urban Hearth for a night celebrating togetherness. Enjoy Chef Erin Miller's award winning 5 course Chef's Tasting menu (winner of Best of Boston's Best Chef's Counter Experience 2024). This tasting is usually reserved for just our coveted chef's counter, but for one night only this will be open for the whole dining room to experience. We'll be offering wine pairings and specialty cocktails/mocktails. We can accommodate vegetarian diners and some dietary restrictions, call or message us directly for questions.

    Once again, urban hearth remains my favorite restaurant on earth. As a vegetarian and vegan, everything is absolutely delicious and so beautifully displayed. It’s such a nice dining experience. Thank you chef Erin miller -  it was the best way to spend my birthday..  miss the chocolate chili gelato. I don’t even like chocolate and I love this. 🙏🏻 KB

    It was an amazing dinner! The whole experience was fantastic! We had the best duck and swordfish ever! The team was lovely and knowledgable we will come back for sure in the future! Wish we lived closer!

    We found the menu options to be limited and quite expensive for small plates meant to be shared. Additionally, one of our plates was very delayed. When we asked the waitress where our plate was she said it was just being readied. After we saw four additional plates served and ours was not, we asked our waitress where ours was. She said it was almost ready and after a few more minutes and no sign of our food, we decided to cut our losses and go down the street to Cafe Barada (food was great there, reasonably priced, great service). We will not go back to Urban Hearth.
