Advertised prix fixe - asked for prix fixe. Was charged a la carte. Really insulted by the bait and switch. Bottom of the barrel behavior on Xmas. 😭😭😭

This is a beautiful restaurant and a true treat. We came here for Christmas dinner for 2. Once we were seated, it took 25 minutes to receive our first drink. Once we ordered, the food service was swift. Although, we had to ask for our charcuterie plate. That came out with our entrees. Of the food we ate, there were a few items that were exceptional. Everything else was good or very good. This was a special Christmas menu. I do want to go back to try the specialties. My filet was phenomenal. The Brussels sprouts were probably the best I have had. I will return.

Good service and food was tasty but the prime beef rib was a very thin cut and when we asked for the ju and horseradish as per the menu description we were told there is no ju. That should have been explained when ordering. The Xmas Day dinner was incredibly pricey when converting to NZ dollars.

It was our return trip to Urbam Fsrmer for Christmas dinner and unfortunately, the experience was completely mediocre and not worth the set price.
