   Thank you for such a lovely evening, particular thanks to Hettie and Shuna who went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. The food was delicious (do not underestimate the size of the plates) and the wine list was fantastic with plenty of unusual and interesting varietals. Our favourite dishes were the sausage ragu pasta, the cheddar cheese croquettes and the rhubarb meringue dessert. We were particularly pleased to find a number of half bottles of wine on the menu and enjoyed a ‘tutti frutti’ orange wine and a marsanne-rousanne blend. We chose to sit at the counter seating and had more than enough space (do be aware some of the stools lack backs). All in all a completely fantastic evening with lovely staff and a great atmosphere (even on a Tuesday night). We look forward to a return visit next time we’re in the area. Alice & Steve

   As always fantastic. Really enjoyed the clever uses of using a whole animal approach to the menu. This particular visit appeared to be a celebration of the pig! The terrine and bolagnese with the fritto was spectacular. Always look forward to returning.

   Cramped space, difficult to find the entrance, we nearly abandoned the visit! Tables are too small for sharing plates, seating very uncomfortable, food was good, but weird menu layout meant you had no idea whether you were ordering a large or small portion. Will not return as they do not take cash and we were made to feel like freaks for not having a credit card, they eventually accepted the cash payment but we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Restaurants that want to be part of the NEW WORLD ORDER should clearly display this and then we can spend our cash elsewhere!!!

   Another wonderful meal from Upstairs at Landrace. Delicious cheese fritters and anchovies, then superb pasta dish. Service was impeccable and we enjoyed a good old catch-up in a relaxed atmosphere. Can’t wait until next time!

   A dream come true! Every time we come to Bath the restaurant is fully booked. This time we got a table and what an experience! The team was so friendly, service excellent, the cocktails, the wine! Every single dish was Unbelievable! Thank you so much!

    The service and food were fantastic, and we truly enjoyed the whole experience. The only thing that fell a bit short for us was the £50 chicken dish. While it was delicious, we felt the price was a little steep and didn’t quite match the value we experienced with the rest of the menu. That said, we’d still highly recommend the restaurant for its wonderful atmosphere and excellent overall quality.
