Union Park Dining Room received New Jersey Monthly Magazine 2005 thru 2018 Critics Choice Award as one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. The place is always lovely. Excellent food, excellent service, great ambiance. Our group of 7 had a New Year Eve dinner on a pre-fix menu, and everyone was very happy with food choices, preparation, and quality. Great place.

I love this restaurant. We had beet salad, mezcal salmon, tuna tartare, sea bass and basque cheesecake. Everything was outstanding! Service was impeccable and great ambiance. Union park is one of my favorite restaurants in cape May.

Celebrated New Year’s Eve. The menu was very interesting even though it was a busy night service was top-notch. One of Cape May‘s classic restaurants. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and exceptional service. Had to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation to get seated BUT WORTH THE WAIT. They provided champagne and appetizers while we waited - the foie gras was delicious and we are not foie gras fans generally - very creatively presented in a waffle cone! The staff was exceptional and the 4 course meal was excellent from shellfish curry chowder that was creamy and flavorful to an elk chop that melted in your mouth! We will definitely go back!

Granted we attended the most expensive night of the year , but .... the place needed something more than balloons . Perhaps a live guitarist ? In the waiting room .. the meal was good but overpriced with no tip included . The furniture can be the same but desperately needs a lighter reupholster job .. too dark & dowry looking. It needs a cosmetic redo .

Our New Year's Eve meal was amazing. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was attentive and accommodating. Every bit as good as Peter Shields and the like.

When the waitress first came to the table she said we are out of 2 entrees and no Caesar salad. I asked if there was any other salad, she said no. I said how about soup. No soup. She said that it was there last night opened for the season so they were out of a lot. I got the filet. When it came it was very small so I asked the waitress about that and she said that they are 6 ounce. I’m sorry but that’s a small filet not saying it on the menu. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

Our server Liz was the best we’ve had in a long time. Everything you want when you go out for a nice dinner. We will definitely go back in 2025.
