The Steakhouse American grill gets William Jack Degel’s food and decor makeover, and the result is simply amazing! Featuring scratch-made appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, craft cocktails and specializing in STEAK. Uncle Jack’s has the look and feel of a 1900s warehouse in New York’s Famous Meatpacking District, complete with aged cement, raw vintage steel, subway title, meat hooks, custom wallpaper featuring archival butcher photos, with flying pigs and steer heads mounted on the walls. The tufted and red vinyl seating, marble bar tops with old school bar styling mixed in and outdoor fire pit lounge areas provide a pop of sophistication while also reinforcing the vintage theme. Food is always plentiful and taste. Some items were left off of our order but we were so full it didn’t matter. We were disappointed to see an “admin charge” pop up on our bill with no explanation or justification. Manager was gracious to remove it.

This place exceed our expectations! The server Justin was very attentive and a manager came over and noticed the New York Yankees SWAG and honored the one free adult beverage! Bravo Zulu will be back!!!

Our server Jocelyn was awesome - pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. She made our experience enjoyable and the food is consistently tasty and abundant! Lauren, the manager, thoughtful accentuated the birthday celebration for our friend with a generous chocolate brownie 😊

They need to hire people who actually give a crap. Our server kept apologizing for not knowing things because she is too used to her other job at another restaurant. The guy who brought us our meal put my dish in the opposite side of the table and I had to stand up to get it. Also, same server spilled the Au Jus that came with the sandwich all over the plate soaking the entire sandwich and just left it. Restaurant was empty at 7:00pm on a Saturday night, server said we “just missed the rush.” Weirdest experience ever. We didn’t complain about anything, that’s just not our style, but the table next to us returned their meal and it seemed to be a pattern. Also, they added a 3% admin fee to the check and tried to sneak it in. When I questioned it, the server said it was a fee to combat the rising costs of inflation, but if I want she could have it removed. Seems super shady and like a bad business practice. Maybe go back in a few months to see if they can fix it, because we normally like their food, but unfortunately for them there are plenty of other places to try and give our business too.

Our server was amazing. Received generous and tasty portions that we ordered (brisket Benedict and brisket skillet) based on her recommendations from the brunch menu. Looking forward to trying other menu items next time!
