    A really nice Italian restaurant (recently renamed by new owner from Mama Leone to Tuscany Nokomis) that has brought new menu items and some remodeling inside and mostly outside, giving the old place a new look and feel…even featuring Valet Parking . Food was good, service was great, soft music and a piano playing low and slow in the background. Overall a good experience, the menu “could” have a few more Italian dishes, however it fit our taste this time around. Had the special Lobster, Shrimp risotto and it was very good (a little pricier than I would have liked) but really enjoyed the amount of lobster and shrimp in it.

    Really enjoyed our meal and we weren’t rushed. They’ve started valet parking and that caused a delay in the parking lot. I know they’re trying to find additional parking spots.

    I have 3 things to report. 1) I ordered Vitcello a’la Piccota. That is my “go to choice” at any new restaurant. It was the worst I have ever had. I brought it home to give it a proper disposal. I don’t have a dog any longer, but I would not have him eat it!! Perhaps the new chef/ owner, Nadell was not in the kitchen. The pasta was fine.2) You post “no smoking” Why don’t you post “men should remove their hats in the dinning area”? 3) Our waitress “ Spring “ was the best part of the evening. Give her a promotion. Doubt I’ll be back. Call if you get it together. Dale

    We had a group gathering of 7 men, who ordered a variety from the menu from trout to pizza. Food taste and quality was excellent. The service staff was exceptionally accomodating and friendly. The owner came out to our table to talk to us, too! All in all, a nice dining experience!

    We always enjoy Tuscany (formerly Mama Leone's) in Nokomis, FL. The food, service and ambiance with live entertainment on Saturday night is reliably great! Our usual server, Helena, is terrific and food always dependably good. We started with cups of Pasta Fagioli and Italian Wedding Soup respectively and for a main course we had a meatball thin crust pizza and eggplant parm. Both great. Love this place.

    Slow and untrained waiter. Beverages from the bar took 29 minutes with excuse after excuse from Michael. We requested to speak to a manager 3 different times and no one ever came over. Honestly it appears no one was trained and everyone there had a very unfriendly attitude. We dine out frequently and have to say this was a very unpleasant experience and will be sure to share with others. We live is a gate community of 668 homes and I want them to know how unpleasant and sloppy our experience was. My Seafood Newburg was less than yummy and the small 31/40 shrimp were overcooked & chewy. My husband said his Chicken Parmesan was chewy & dry. My Lobster Bisque was cooler than the room temperature. Our friends visiting were kind and thanked us for their low quality meal. Michael never came back to check on us. Extremely disappointed. We feel like we were taken advantage of and just took our money.

    Fantastic food. The service is excellent and everyone makes you feel at home. The restaurant is in a constant state of improvement. It is well worth it to try this restaurant if you have not already.

    The service was the best part of the experience. We were eight adults so there was a lot for the waitstaff to deal with. Overall, the majority of the party enjoyed the food. The live piano music was pleasant because it was not on top of us.

    The food was very good but we waited over 45 minutes for dinner. Service needs improvement- it was fairly busy on a Saturday night, but 45 minutes is a little too long to wait in my opinion. However once the food arrived my wife and I enjoyed it very much. Would return, but may not arrive famished.
