   The venue is super cute. The selection of food offered for the Mad Hatter Tea was quite nice, and everything was tasty. My only concern is that we booked well in advance for a seating at 3pm. We were served our tea but didn’t get the food till 3:45pm after most if not all tables around us had their’s. Then we were told at 4:50pm that we had ten minutes to box up our food because they were closing. For a $40 meal, I was disappointed in the way this unfolded.

   Staff were fantastic. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Food at the Mad Hatter Tea Party was unique and delicious. Great Teahouse atmosphere. Highly recommend.

   I must say the food has gotten better since last time I was there. Everything always looked beautiful but just flavour and garnish and fruits and moistness of scones have improved! Service continues to be outstanding. And we really do keep coming back from the ambiance which is just lovely! Thank you!

   Had a wonderful experience at high tea today with my mother and daughter. Servers were fun, happy and polite. Food was yummy and ambiance was great. Overall a lovely afternoon out!

   Water glasses were dirty as were the tea cups. Service was extremely slow. And no one came out to the tables to ask how people were doing. Table decor was also dirty with left on food and crumbs. Although we had reservations and had pre-submitted our menu selections the meal still took 45 minutes to come.

   Super busy so the staff were only able to come to our table to take drink orders and to hand the food never checked on us after that. But we’re friendly upon arrival. Loved that everything was preordered and timed seated event. Loved it!

   Despite no power or heat when we arrived at 1:00 pm., the staff hustled to get the tables ready for the reservations. It was very cold. Our tea trays and pots of tea were very good. The power came back on about 2:30 pm but wee were just about finished. People clapped loudly for the lights and warmth being restored. A lovely day out for the girls.

   I was very disappointed in our experience at the Mad Hatters Tea Party. It was a very cold day and to find out that there was no power in the Tea House did not help. We had to keep our winter coats on throughout the entire time. Our sandwiches arrived after a long wait and were stale. The tea was lukewarm and our server disappeared . We had to search for someone to get a fresh pot of hot water and find our own boxes to take home the items that we could not eat. I am an RBG member and must say this was not one of my favorite events. For the admission price I had much higher expectations. Once the heat came back on - the tea plates were very different than the one we had been served and that also bothered us. It was series of unfortunate events that left the client feeling neglected and saddened.

   Food, service, staff and ambiance was great. There was no power, so it was chilly in the Tea House but it was still a very enjoyable experience.

    The Royal Botanical Gardens Tea house is a lovely place for afternoon tea. The servers are very cordial and the tea selection is wonderful. The shared tier of sandwiches and sweets is very enjoyable. I've been before and will visit again.
