I was looking forward to visiting from out of town, after going to the Asheville location, but lately sad to say I was disappointed in pretty much every aspect of our experience. It wasn’t terrible, but no where close to the very pleasurable and quite memorable experience we had in Asheville. Let’s just say, I probably wouldn’t visit or recommend this location.

Portions were small for the Lunch Combo. Biscuits were outstanding. Lavender lemonade was very good. Restaurant is very attractive.

Came with a friend to try something new. There was not enough waitstaff and it took around 30 minutes to get our food. I had an omelette with collard greens on the side. Omelette was rubbery and the greens were so salty they were difficult to eat. My friend had the famous fried chicken which she said was tasty, but her rosemary garlic potatoes were so salty she took one bite and stopped. The lack of parking made our overall experience less than great as well.

We celebrated my grandmothers 97th birthday, she wanted some fried chicken & it was everything she wanted! Then our waiter brought out a complimentary dessert & candles for her as we sung happy birthday! She really enjoyed her time here, as it was my 2nd time coming here & really enjoyed both experiences ! Thanks again!

I was very excited to try this place out. We ordered the Brussels to start and they were pretty good. I ordered a cold brew (yes, I drink coffee all day lol) and that came out good! I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken and waffles and my man ordered the sweet and spicy friend chicken with Mac and cheese for a side. Mine was just…. Not for me. It was flavorful, I just didn’t love the flavor personally. I think it was the syrup or something they put in too? However, I tried my boyfriend’s sweet and spicy friend chicken and thought it was great. His Mac and cheese was good but nothing crazy. Seemed maybe a bit microwavey imho. Everything came out played nicely. The service was good for a busy Saturday with a couple large parties there. All in all, I definitely want to give another one of their options another try. Their menu is packed with yummy things and there’s potential there.

We went to your restaurant probably 2 years ago, so good amazing. Had friends come in town for March madness so thought great place to go back to … chicken was dry waffles no flavor. Everything was almost reheated. And for the price just very disappointing

The food was okay, just not overwhelmingly flavorful. The ambiance was good and our server was attentive & very friendly. It took a while to be greeted at the hostess stand and the restaurant wasn’t really crowded but it was busy. The meatloaf was over cooked and the salmon was flavored as it stated (only salt & pepper). Desserts were okay. The banana pudding was runny & the chocolate cake was a bit dry.

Fried okra was good. Chicken strips & Fried Chicken seemed either slightly over cooked or in need of fryer oil needing changed. Meat was very tender tho. Good service & atmosphere
