   I’m currently in the middle of cancer treatment at Stanford and find myself in Palo Alto on a regular basis. There is nowhere I would rather patron than True Food Kitchen. Both Michael and Amanda (managers) have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and supported during this difficult time. The food is tasty and appropriately healthy for my needs in recovery. I’m not simply a guest at True Food, I feel like a valued part of the family.

   I have been eating here for a few years on a regular basis so i know what to expect. Yesterday I waited 70 minutes to be served. My grass fed burger was not as usual and cold. And either the manager does not know his menu, or the menu is misleading. I tried the new True Trio Lunch. As menu states, a beverage, main and paring. Only received the beverage and main. Complained to manager and he did comp my lunch but maintained that only a beverage and main comes with what I ordered. Very misleading. Very bad service waiting over an hour for our meal.

   Loud and slow. Vegan burger really good, GF bun exceptional. Slow on ordering and on the food coming out. Kind of put a damper on the whole experience. WE drove 35 mins to eat there.

   True Food Kitchen used to be one of our favorite places to go and have health and delicious meals. In the past couple of years things changed for the worse, to be honest. Food doesn’t taste good, even the same menu items I’ve been ordering for many years, are no longer made with care, it seems. It’s in a great location and I do like their menu choices but it’ll be a while before we come back.

   If you want healthy, delicious food this is the place. The service was a bit glitchy. There was a big timing difference between when I received my food and when my husband got his and there was no one to ask about it for quite a long time. Mine came right away. But then his came maybe 10 minutes later. ?? They turn tables really fast, which if you're in a hurry is great. But if you're trying to enjoy a nice outing, it made us feel sort of rushed. I wouldn't definitely go back. I appreciate the wide array of vegetarian options which are often hard to find.

    On Saturday night the noise level was almost unbearable. The inside seating area has absolutely no noise absorbing surfaces and most of the guests were forced to almost shout to others at their table. I will probably not return if something is not done to reduce the noise level. No amount of good food will be enough to overcome the high noise level.
